My hair definitely has gone through many different journey’s. I’ve had it long and bleached, a short bob, I even had it brown once. But I feel like I’ve finally gotten to the point where I know what works for my hair and how to make it cooperate. Today I’ll be telling you all about my favorite hair products that are cruelty free and super affordable, along with the tools I use. Plus, there’s a giveaway at the end of this post! ♥
Every time I run out of my shampoo or conditioner, I’m always on the hunt for something new. I’ve noticed lately my hair was brittle and just lost it’s life. Until I tried this duo! It really strengthens my hair and gives it more body, which makes styling easier. It also doesn’t have any of that junk in it that isn’t good for your hair. Oh, and they’re only $4 a bottle!!
I have pretty thick hair, and it’s a nightmare trying to brush out my hair after a shower. This detangler makes my hair super soft and helps keep the shine in my hair and keep frizz at bay.
Now this is a savior product on the days I don’t wash my hair. I’ll be honest, I’ve been able to go 6 days without washing it because of this stuff. Some people might think that’s gross, I think it’s quite the accomplishment!
With having thick hair, I need a hairspray that can hold my curls for a long time…without making my hair crispy. This one holds my style all day, I can easily brush my curls out after spraying it, and it adds the perfect amount of volume.
This is a new product to me, but it’s a good one! This is another dry shampoo, but it’s different than the Batiste one. Not only does this one smell like coconuts, but something about this product just gives life to my 2nd or 3rd day curls. I mean the name is style extend, but it also does a great job at being a dry shampoo as well.
I skip blow-drying my hair due to it’s less exposure of heat, and most of the time I’m too lazy and just sleep on wet hair. But these two tools I couldn’t live without!
I’ve had a love affair with Nume flat irons for a while. My most recent Nume flat iron was on it’s last leg and I wanted to try something else. So far, I’ve been loving this Hot Tools flat iron. It heats up fast, and something about the plates makes my hair super soft, which I’m a fan of. I mainly straighten my hair with this tool, but occasionally curl it too.
Remington Curling Wand $30
This has been my go-to curling wand for probably 5+ years and it hasn’t failed me yet! It’s the perfect size to get those effortless curls, and I noticed my curls stay a lot longer than with a flat iron, and it creates more volume.
